Integrated manufacturing is the process of linking and coordinating various manufacturing processes using computer systems and technology to manage the production flow and eliminate bottlenecks and production disruptions. Geater uses integrated systems to improve organizational efficiency of multiple jobs by streamlining the production process and reducing waste and downtime.
All of our manufacturing process are completed in one location, reducing the need and costs of shipping a job from one location to another.
Geater has invested in new technology from machines to software to improve scheduling, productivity, accuracy and quality. The result? We have seen a 20% increase in production due to the increased spindle speeds and lightning-fast tool changes. Our new centers have increased our capacity by 15,000 hours annually and the Sail/Mast auto scheduling software allows flexibility in scheduling multiple short and long runs more efficiently.
This benefits our customers by allowing us increased capacity, production job flexibility, and better control over quality, scheduling and making deliveries on time. We understand the importance of maintaining on time deliveries for critical parts in your supply chain.
We are a full-service integrated manufacturer providing precision machining and sheet metal fabrication in addition to secondary capabilities including build to print reviews, painting, powder coating, conversion coatings, metal passivation, resistance spot welding, assembly, and hardware installation.
By utilizing integrated systems in a single location, we can increase production and capacity for our customers.
Our DFM process starts with reviewing our customers design prints to recommend manufacturing processes, and conformity requirements for the ease of manufacturing with an end goal of reducing costs, improving quality, and increasing efficiency.
We utilize a wide variety of machining equipment designed for both speed and accuracy. Through robust processes we are able to provide production orders, short lead time parts and prototyping all in the same environment.
We also offer a wide array of sheet metal fabrication processes. We have the ability to punch, bend, spotweld and finish complete sheet metal assemblies all under one roof while cutting float and que times to mere minutes.
Geater is NADCAP Certified in resistance welding and utilizes Weld Computer Technology to control a variety of weld parameters, for precise welding results. This gives us the ability to weld aluminum and stainless-steel sheet metal materials, with a sum total range up to .250” (1/4”) and the ability to weld multiples of different assemblies within tight tolerance zones.
Our capabilities also include a wide range of finishing operations so that additional manufacturing processes can be completed under one roof and improve quality assurance and on time delivery. Our GOLD, or Geater Operating Linking Database is our shop floor manufacturing support program. GOLD encompasses internal/external documents, renderings, written/video work instructions, control plans, and much more.
