Geater would like to offer you the opportunity to learn about what careers are available to your student. We are committed to leading the way on educating students on the possibilities that are out there in advanced manufacturing.

Who We Are

Our student outreach program is focused on educating students, teachers, counselors, and administrators about the rewarding career opportunities available in advanced manufacturing while helping schools provide meaningful, real-world experiences for their students. By introducing students to career possibilities early, we can help them discover their interests, develop valuable skills, and see a future for themselves in manufacturing and other high-demand careers.

Geater participates in local career and job fairs, STEM festivals, and career exploration events, providing students with opportunities to learn directly from industry professionals and gain a better understanding of the careers available to them. We welcome teachers through the Iowa Externship program and provides students with job shadow and internship opportunities through school-to-work programs. We also partner with schools to provide engaging classroom activities for students of all grade levels, as well as speakers who share practical knowledge on topics such as resume writing, interview skills, career readiness, and advanced manufacturing.
